Hurricane Ike hit the Texas Coast on September 12, 2008 and was relentless in its path and amount of damage that it
caused.
The following is an update of where we stand from an operational and staff perspective:
Cardon Corporate Office: Our office, while not sustaining serious structural damage, was without power,
telephone, or internet connectivity from September 12th through September 17th. Our IT department worked around the
clock to ensure that our server was functional in Dallas as well as getting things back up and running in The Woodlands.
As of September 18th, we were once again fully functional in our corporate office.
Computer Systems: All Cardon websites and sftp sites are back online. All client file transfers from the down time have
been processed.
Cardon Staff: We also back to full functionality with our staff in the Houston area. While we do currently have a hand full
of employees out due to continued school and daycare closures, many of our staff have been doing double duty filling in
to ensure that all of our client's patients needs are met.
We wish to thank all of our employees and clients for collaborative effort that has been made in ensuring that all patient
and hospital needs have been met. While we still have some staff without power in their homes, the sun is once again
shining.
Many thanks to all of our clients and employees that have made it possible to bounce back so quickly and effectively!
