Doug Cardon is President and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Cardon with fifteen years experience in managing third-party receivables and cash
recoveries in the healthcare industry. This has included work for both Cardon and Central Healthcare Services, Inc,-one
of the pioneers in self-pay collections, third-party eligibility and third-party liability programs for hospitals.
Doug is a Certified Healthcare Financial Professional through the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA),
of which he is a member. He was a senior staff member of the Appropriations Committee of the U.S. House of
Representatives and a former president of Intercoastal Finance Corporation, an asset-based lender and equity
investment firm. He is a former President's Fellow and Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of International Affairs.
Doug performed his undergraduate studies at Brigham Young University and his Masters and Ph.D. work at
Columbia University.
