Christian Richards is the Controller and Vice President overseeing Accounting and Finance. He is also a Director of Cardon. Christian brings a strong combination of operational expertise and financial acumen to Cardon’s executive management team. With his unique perspective, he coordinates financial budgeting and forecasting as well as acquisition and implementation strategy.
Prior to joining the Finance Team as Controller, Christian was a Project Manager in the Utah region over Hospital Corporation of America (HCA) and Supervisor over Intermountain Health Care. Earlier workforce experience included serving as an account executive with Ingenix Publishing, a division of United Healthcare.
Christian has the accreditation of CPA and received his Masters of Accountancy from the University of Houston, with a Bachelors in Accounting from the University of Utah. Christian is a current member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association and serves on the Programs Board of the Houston HFMA Gulf Coast Chapter.
