Brian Shure is the Chief Financial Officer and on the board of Cardon. He is also a Managing Partner of Ambrose Capital Partners, a New York-based private equity fund manager that invests growth capital and operational expertise with a focus on founder owned and managed businesses.
Prior to Ambrose, Brian was a Partner at Maximus Capital, a hedge fund dedicated to public healthcare investments. At Maximus, Brian focused his investment efforts on healthcare services businesses. He was the Director of Trading, served as the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer, and was a member of the Investment Committee.
Prior to joining Maximus, Brian was with C-Bridge Corporation, a technology consulting firm based in Cambridge, MA, where he led business development and was distinguished as the firm’s top performer. Prior to C-Bridge, Brian was an Associate with Bear, Stearns & Co. in the equity research department. He began his career as an Analyst in the alternative investments group at the Baltimore-based investment bank Alex Brown & Sons.
Brian holds a BA from Yale University and an MBA from Columbia Business School. He is a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) and on the board of Beyond the Boroughs, a national scholarship fund for underprivileged, college bound students.
